The DEM Party delegation from Imralı, which visited the Iraqi Kurdish Regional Government, met with Bafel Jalal Talabani, the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan. During their visit, Pervin Buldan and Sırrı Süreyya Önder also visited the grave of Jalal Talabani, and it was noteworthy that they wrote messages in Turkish in the memorial book.
Contacts of the DEM Party Imralı delegation continue in the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) of Iraq. After meeting with the President of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) Mesut Barzani and KRG President Neçirvan Barzani in Erbil yesterday, the Imralı delegation met today with the President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK) Bafıl Celal Talabani in the city of Sulaymaniyah.
"EMPHASIS ON PEACEFUL SOLUTION"
Keskin Bayındır, Co-Chair of the Democratic Regions Party (DBP), stated at a press conference after the meeting, "In our meeting, we discussed the future of the Kurdish people and the Kurdish issue in Turkey. We thank President Bafıl Talabani for his support and contributions to the peace process. We can confidently say that all Kurdish political parties are united in supporting the peace process and the peaceful resolution of the Kurdish issue today."
MESSAGE IN TURKISH IN THE MEMORIAL BOOK
Finally, the delegation visited the grave of Celal Talabani, who passed away in 2017, in the city of Sulaymaniyah. Pervin Buldan and Sırrı Süreyya Önder wrote a message in Turkish in the memorial book prepared for Celal Talabani.
"WE PROMISE IT WILL HAPPEN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE"
Pervin Buldan used the following expressions in her message: "To ensure the freedom and peace of the Kurdish people, whom Mam Celal longed for, is to honor his memory. We promise that this will happen as soon as possible. We carry the honor of conveying Öcalan's loyalty and love to Mam Celal. I remember him with gratitude and respect."
