Nurgül Yeşilçay won the lawsuit she filed against the production company Endemol Medya in 2017, claiming that she did not receive a share of the international sales revenue from the series "Paramparça," in which she played the lead role. The Istanbul Intellectual Property and Industrial Rights Court found Yeşilçay's request justified and ruled that the company must pay over 2 million in compensation.

Between 2014 and 2017, Nurgül Yeşilçay, who gained acclaim for her performance in the series "Paramparça," which aired and attracted great interest in many countries, claimed that the promised 3% share of international sales revenue was not paid to her and took legal action. According to Hürriyet's report, the actress's lawyers stated in the petition submitted to the court that Yeşilçay, who receives a net fee of 75,000 TL for each episode, was guaranteed by contract to receive a 3% share from international sales as well.

Although Endemol Media sought the dismissal of the case, the court ruled otherwise. As a result of the trial, it was decided that Endemol Media must pay Nurgül Yeşilçay a total of 2 million 282 thousand 29 lira and 63 kuruş in material compensation, along with the legal interest effective from November 17, 2021.
