A truck driver from Sakarya, Tevfik Bektaş, who was transporting goods to the city of Kiev in Ukraine, found himself caught in the midst of a 12-hour bombardment initiated by Russia. Bektaş refused to enter a shelter and remained in his truck, which was hit by a bomb in the area where he was located. While Bektaş lost his life, the moments when the trucks caught fire were captured on camera.

According to the information obtained, Tevfik Bektaş, a truck driver from Sakarya, who took a load from Akyazı to Ukraine's Kyiv, started waiting in the customs area after unloading his cargo. Bektaş, a father of three, reportedly preferred to stay in his truck despite the warning to enter the shelters before the 12-hour bombing initiated by Russia.

As a result of a bomb hitting the area where he was during the bombing, Bektaş lost his life. It was reported that three other people also lost their lives in the attack along with Bektaş. The shared footage included moments when trucks and large vehicles caught fire after the bombing.
