An agreement has been signed between Türkiye and Saudi Arabia providing for mutual exemption from visa obligations for holders of diplomatic and special passports.
A visa exemption agreement covering diplomatic and special passport holders was signed between Turkey and Saudi Arabia. The agreement is considered an important step in relations between the two countries.
EXEMPTION FOR DIPLOMATIC AND GREEN PASSPORT HOLDERS
Under the signed agreement, citizens of Turkey and Saudi Arabia who hold diplomatic and special (green) passports will be mutually exempted from visas.
SIGNED BY FIDAN AND FAISAL BIN FARHAN
The agreement was signed by Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al-Saud. The signing took place after the Third Meeting of the Turkish-Saudi Coordination Council.
A NEW STEP IN RELATIONS
The regulation, signed under the title "Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Turkey and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the Reciprocal Exemption of Diplomatic and Special Passport Holders from Visa Obligation," is expected to facilitate diplomatic contacts between the two countries.
