In the Haliliye district of Şanlıurfa, the body of an unidentified woman was found in an irrigation canal. An investigation has been launched regarding the incident.
Citizens who noticed a corpse in the irrigation canal passing through the rural Tepedibi neighborhood of the Haliliye district of Şanlıurfa reported the situation to the gendarmerie teams.
WOMAN'S BODY IN THE IRRIGATION CANAL
When the gendarmerie teams arrived at the scene and could not reach the corpse, they notified the Şanlıurfa Search and Rescue (ŞUAK) team, which was established last month under the Metropolitan Municipality. The teams that arrived at the scene retrieved the unidentified female corpse, which was learned to belong to a woman.
IDENTITY AND CAUSE OF DEATH WILL BE DETERMINED IN AUTOPSY
After the examinations conducted at the scene, the corpse, which was taken to the morgue of the Forensic Medicine Institution, will have its identity and exact cause of death determined after the autopsy procedures to be carried out here. Meanwhile, an investigation has also been initiated regarding the incident.
