Gold prices set a new record this morning. Investors and market watchers are closely monitoring this sudden rise in gold prices, as the global markets saw gold reach $3,287 per ounce for the first time.

As tensions rise under the influence of global trade wars, investors continue to seek safe havens. Gold, which has been breaking record after record, reached a historic level in the morning hours. While the ounce of gold hit a new peak at 3,287 dollars, the gram of gold is trading at 4,020 TL.

The escalation, coinciding with a period when central banks are heavily buying gold, has led to significant fluctuations in gold prices, influenced by profit-taking as well.
