A 21-year-old woman who stole two chairs from in front of a store in Arnavutköy was quickly caught, and in her statement, she defended herself by saying, "I had a missing chair in my dining set at home, I needed to complete it."
A woman who stole two chairs from a furniture store in the Arnavutköy district of Istanbul was caught as a result of police efforts. It was learned that the suspect stated in her testimony that she committed the theft to complete the missing chairs in her dining set at home, while new security camera footage of the theft emerged.
The incident occurred in front of a furniture store in Arnavutköy. According to the information obtained, a woman approached the table and chairs displayed as a set and took two of the four chairs, then left the scene.

The moment of the theft was captured on security camera, and the Arnavutköy District Police Department's Public Order Bureau teams quickly apprehended the suspect after the incident. The arrested R.K. (21) defended herself in her initial statement at the police station by saying, "I had a missing chair in my dining set at home. I needed to complete it."

Meanwhile, new security camera footage also emerged showing the woman walking for a long time with the two stolen chairs and progressing to a bus stop. In the footage, the suspect was seen carrying the chairs as she moved away. The apprehended suspect will be referred to the courthouse after her procedures at the police station.
