A woman with two children who wanted to take a taxi in Ankara stabbed the driver who refused to take her to her desired destination. While the injured taxi driver was taken to the hospital, the attacking woman was released.
A drug addict named Yaprak A., who arrived at a taxi stand in the Altındağ district of Ankara with two children, told taxi driver Salih Şener that she wanted to go to the Yenidoğan neighborhood but would keep the taxi waiting there for a while.

Salih Şener stated that he could not wait at the place she wanted to go and did not let the woman and the children into the vehicle. Following this, a dispute arose between taxi driver Şener and Yaprak A. As the argument escalated, Yaprak A. stabbed Şener in the abdomen.

The incident was captured on security cameras. While Şener, who was taken to the hospital by his friends, was receiving treatment, Yaprak A., who was caught by the police teams, was referred to the courthouse after her procedures at the police station. Yaprak A., who was not complained about by taxi driver Şener, was released by the court she was brought before.

Fahrettin Yağcı, one of the drivers at the taxi stand, said, "A woman and two children came as customers while waiting for a car, and they approached our friend and got into the taxi. They said, 'We will go to Yenidoğan and come back.' The taxi driver said, 'I can take you, but I can't wait.' After that, a dispute broke out, and she kicked the car. Then she came inside, sat down, and argued that he should take her. They stabbed him along with the two young children. Our friend is now going to the hospital, to the emergency room. The woman is being assaulted by her surroundings at the hospital. She is being treated with a broken nose. I don't think she is a normal person; she may have taken something," he said.
