In a workplace accident at an aluminum factory in the Hendek district of Sakarya, 51-year-old Hüseyin Bodur lost his life after being trapped under approximately 1 ton of materials. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
A worker lost his life after being trapped under approximately 1 ton of materials in an industrial accident at an aluminum factory in the Hendek district of Sakarya.
The incident occurred around 09:30 in the morning at an aluminum factory in the 2nd Organized Industrial Zone, located in Kargalıhanbaba Neighborhood of Hendek district. According to information obtained, 51-year-old worker Hüseyin Bodur got trapped among aluminum materials known as 'billet,' each weighing approximately one thousand kilograms.
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED INTO THE INCIDENT
Upon other workers noticing the situation and calling the 112 Emergency Call Center, health and gendarme teams were dispatched to the scene. Health teams arriving at the scene determined that Bodur had lost his life. While Hüseyin Bodur's lifeless body was taken to the hospital morgue, an investigation into the incident has been initiated.
