Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Hamza Yerlikaya encouraged Sude Yaren Uzunçavdar, who lost in the final of the 2026 European Taekwondo Championship held in Germany.
Yerlikaya, who followed the championship held at BMW Park in Munich, consoled Sude Yaren, who settled for a silver medal after losing in the final match to Belgian Sarah Haari.

The national athlete thanked Yerlikaya, saying, "I got 3 points, but the referees did not award them. Thank you for your support. Hopefully, I will make up for it in a better way."
