25-year-old Muhammet Mirza Tomaşoğlu suffered an epileptic seizure in an indoor pool in Denizli. The young man, who remained underwater due to the seizure, could not be saved and lost his life.
A 25-year-old young man in Denizli drowned after having an epileptic seizure in a pool. The incident occurred at the indoor swimming pool in the Karahasanlı neighborhood of Denizli's Merkezefendi district. According to information obtained, 25-year-old Muhammet Mirza Tomaşoğlu, who had epilepsy, suffered a seizure while swimming in the pool.
THE LIFEGUARD DID NOT NOTICE IN THE FIRST MINUTES
Due to the seizure, Mirza Tomaşoğlu sank to the bottom of the water and did not catch the lifeguard's attention. After it was understood that Muhammet Mirza Tomaşoğlu, who remained underwater for about 2 minutes, had drowned, he was pulled out of the water and given first aid. Following the first aid, Muhammet Mirza Tomaşoğlu was taken to Denizli Servergazi State Hospital by ambulance but could not be saved despite all interventions.
HE WAS THE SON OF A BUSINESSMAN
Muhammet Mirza Tomaşoğlu's body will be buried at Bozburun Cemetery after the funeral prayer to be held at Müftü Ahmet Hulusi Efendi Mosque on the Pamukkale University campus, following the afternoon prayer today.
Meanwhile, it was learned that Muhammet Mirza Tomaşoğlu was the son of businessman Hasan Tomaşoğlu, who previously served as the Organization President in the former administration of the Merkezefendi District of the AK Party.
