After leaving her life in Bodrum and moving to Mardin, Fatma Kovan, who lost her 55 million lira fortune to the man who changed her life, claimed that she started receiving threatening messages and phone calls after the incident was reported in the media. The young woman, who said she was threatened with death, expressed that she was afraid for her daughter, not for herself, and claimed that her ex-husband's pharmacy diploma obtained from Ukraine was also fake.

Fatma Kovan, who moved from Bodrum to Mardin for A.K., whom she met online, lost her 55 million lira fortune. After learning that her daughter, who was 1 year old at the time, was being betrothed, Kovan fled Mardin with her daughter two years ago. She obtained a restraining order against A.K., whom she claimed defrauded her, and initiated a legal battle to recover her total fortune of 55 million lira.

Kovan, who is continuing her legal struggle, claimed that A.K. and his relatives, for whom she left her life in Bodrum and married in a religious ceremony, threatened her with death. She alleged that the threats were made via messages or calls from unknown numbers, stating that she was not afraid for herself but was anxious for her daughter. The young woman, who said she felt like she was walking on needles when she went out with her daughter, also took this issue to court. Kovan claimed that her ex-husband's pharmacy diploma was also fake.

"I AM BEING THREATENED WITH DEATH"

Kovan stated that after appearing on screen and in newspapers, she started receiving threatening phone calls and messages related to death, saying, "After I appeared on screen and in newspapers, I started receiving a lot of threats from my own tribe. I am being threatened with death. They even ask my neighbors about the light in my house. I receive a lot of messages regarding this. Again, my ex-husband, the person who defrauded me, sends me many messages about the things he did in the past. After the news, there were people who sent messages. Some do not want to give their names. They are afraid of where they are, people have gotten married and have children. But they also say that this person is problematic. They say they are a tribe where they are located," she said.

"I AM AFRAID WHEN I TAKE MY DAUGHTER TO THE PARK"

Kovan, who said she was afraid for her daughter, not for herself, stated, "I have one child. I do not know where these threats will come from or what they will do. I constantly look to my right and left. I am not afraid of anything. Because I am right. I did not lie. I did not slander anyone. But there are people who ask about the light in my house, whether I am at home. People who know them send me threatening messages. Our location is known. I live with my daughter. I am afraid when I take my daughter to the park. I look into people's faces," she said.

"HIS PHARMACY DIPLOMA IS FAKE"

Kovan, who claimed that her ex-husband's pharmacy diploma was also fake, said, "This document is my ex-husband's diploma. The diploma he obtained under the name of pharmacy. This is a fake diploma. This diploma was obtained for money. It can be investigated. This person has only been to Ukraine once in his life. I ask, can a person who has only been to Ukraine once, a person who has never seen a school, deserve this diploma? It is a diploma obtained for money. I call out to this person, I call out to those who have spent years in university. This person should be subjected to an oral interview. Whatever this diploma is for, he should be interviewed for that. He is a person who does not even know what the simplest painkiller does. How did he get this diploma? I am curious. He does not practice pharmacy. After I appeared on screen and in newspapers, I also received messages related to this. He has told other people that he is a pharmacist," she said.

Kovan, who claimed that her ex-husband revealed her private matters to others, said, "I want to say this from here. I am a person living in Turkey. We have rights, law, and justice in this country. I call out to those who say they are a tribe. Can a person reveal their spouse's private matters to others? There is no such thing in any race, religion, or culture. I want the answers to my questions. I have evidence regarding this. I am a thousand mothers, a thousand women. The incident that hurt me the most in this case was the betrothal of my daughter. The second is this. Everything about this person is fraudulent. This person has always been like this. I could not recognize him," she said.

"HE TOOK MY NEARLY 55 MILLION LIRA FORTUNE THROUGH FRAUDULENT MEANS"

Kovan, who stated that her lawsuits regarding the fraud allegations are ongoing, said, "He took my nearly 55 million lira fortune through fraudulent means and defrauded me. These lawsuits will eventually end. Everything will come to light. I am sure of everything. I also believe in justice. I leave the psychological state of this to everyone's judgment. Not one, not two, but 1,500 records. In every record, I hear my private matters. I looked at this person's parents. I made every kind of sacrifice for this person. I became his wife with my honor and dignity. But I leave this person's situation to the judgment of society," she said.

Fatma Kovan's lawyer, Erol Üstündağ, stated, "After this news process, our client received multiple death threats, both from social media and from secret phone calls. There were those who said they were being followed from hidden numbers. We have also filed a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office regarding this. The investigation is ongoing," he said.
