The images that emerged from the locker room of Talas Denizspor, an amateur league team in Kayseri, drew reactions. In the footage, coach Deniz Niğdelioğlu was seen assaulting a player after the match.

The player involved in the incident stated that he yelled and cursed at the coach. He mentioned that after his reaction, the coach slowly squeezed his throat, saying, "I am telling the truth. I had received a red card for cursing at the referee during the Erkiletspor match. After the match, our coach came to the locker room and jokingly hit my leg. In another match, they were criticizing me. So, after the match, I went to the locker room and yelled and cursed towards my side. Our coach got angry at me, saying 'shut up.' I turned my back and cursed, saying 'that's how the team and the coach are.' Our coach came to me. While talking, he raised his hand. I quickly hit the coach's hand.
