An investigation has been initiated regarding allegations that tickets for the matches are being sold on the black market. Access has been restricted to five websites identified as facilitating unauthorized ticket sales.
A recent development has occurred regarding allegations that football match tickets in Turkey are being sold on various websites in the black market.
AN OFFICIAL INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN INITIATED
The Istanbul Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Sports Crimes Investigation Bureau has initiated an official investigation into the allegations of the sale and transfer of football match tickets outside of official sales channels. As part of the investigation, access to 5 websites identified as intermediaries for unauthorized ticket sales has been blocked.
ACCESS BLOCKED TO 5 WEBSITES
In a press release made by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was stated, "An official investigation has been initiated by the Istanbul Anadolu Chief Public Prosecutor's Office Sports Crimes Investigation Bureau regarding the allegations that tickets for football matches are being sold and transferred outside of official sales channels. In order to prevent the victimization of fans and sports clubs and to prevent crimes, access has been blocked to the websites www.kombinedevret.com, www.varbilet.com, www.biletwise.com, www.ticketfoni.com, www.ticketbix.com, which have been identified as intermediaries for unauthorized ticket sales and transfers, by the Istanbul Anadolu Duty Magistrate's Court in accordance with Article 8/A of Law No. 5651. Necessary procedures are being meticulously carried out to uncover the material truth in all its aspects as part of the investigation. It is respectfully announced to the public."
