The incident in which a teacher was killed in Diyarbakır turned out to be very different. Although it was claimed that the female teacher, who had a romantic relationship with her colleague, committed the murder after inviting him to her home, as the investigation deepened, it was revealed that the person who pulled the trigger was her husband. In Diyarbakır, in 2024, it was revealed that the person who committed the murder of a teacher was not the woman who initially took the blame, but her husband.

WOMAN WHO TOOK THE BLAME COULDN'T HIDE THE TRUTH

According to a report in Nefes; after the incident, the investigation was deepened when the woman teacher Z.A. could not explain how she used the weapon in her statements. Investigations revealed that the murder was committed by Z.A.'s husband, Ş.Y.

FIRED A GUN AFTER A DISPUTE

The defendant Ş.Y. stated that a dispute occurred when O.K., who was having a romantic relationship with his wife, came to their house on the day of the incident, and that he fired a gun as the argument escalated. In the incident, teacher O.K. lost her life.

AFTER THE MURDER, HE WANTED HIS WIFE TO TAKE THE BLAME

It was revealed that after the murder, Ş.Y. wanted his wife to take the blame, thinking that their children would be victimized if he went to prison.

BOTH RECEIVED SENTENCES

The court ruled that the defendant Ş.Y. committed the crime of "intentional murder." However, due to the fact that the incident occurred under unjust provocation, the sentence was reduced, and the defendant was sentenced to 10 years and 5 months in prison.

The woman who took the blame, Z.A., received a prison sentence of 8 months and 10 days for the crime of "taking the blame." Acquittal was decided for the other defendants.
