A new development has occurred regarding Haluk Levent, who was arrested in the investigation into the Ahbap Association. Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, an access restriction decision was made for Levent's X account, which has approximately 9 million followers, under Article 8/A of Law No. 5651. Following the decision, attention has turned to when the X platform will implement this decision.
An access ban decision has been made regarding the X account of Haluk Levent, who has approximately 9 million followers, as part of the investigation against the Ahbap Association. It was learned that the decision was taken under Article 8/A of Law No. 5651, while it was stated that the X platform has not yet made the account invisible from Turkey.
DECISION MADE UNDER INVESTIGATION
Haluk Levent, the founder of the Ahbap Association, was arrested within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. During the investigation, an access ban decision was also made for Levent's social media account.
X HAS NOT YET IMPLEMENTED THE DECISION
Despite the access ban decision, it was stated that the X platform has not yet made the account invisible from Turkey. Therefore, it was noted that access to Haluk Levent's account continues to be provided through the platform.
