The suspect, who shot and injured his friend while sitting together in a café in the Sapanca district of Sakarya, has gone missing. It was learned that the injured person, who was taken to the hospital for treatment, is not in critical condition, while the police have initiated efforts to capture the suspect who disappeared after the incident.
In the Sapanca district of Sakarya, a discussion broke out between A.Ö. and S.B. in a group of friends sitting in front of a café located on Mimar Sinan Street for an unknown reason.
SHOT IN THE LEG AND HIP
As the argument escalated, 22-year-old A.Ö. fired at 20-year-old S.B. with a gun he pulled from his waist. S.B. was injured in the leg and hip during the incident. Health and police teams were dispatched to the scene upon notification.
NO LIFE-THREATENING INJURIES
S.B., who was taken to Sapanca District State Hospital by ambulance, was transferred to Sakarya Sadıka Sabancı State Hospital after the initial intervention there. It was learned that S.B. did not have any life-threatening injuries.
POLICE ARE SEARCHING FOR THE FUGITIVE SUSPECT
Following the incident, the police have launched an operation to capture A.Ö., who fled the scene, and the investigation is ongoing.
