Fenerbahçe officially applied to the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) following allegations that the members of the Professional Football Disciplinary Committee (PFDK) violated the principle of impartiality. After communications allegedly belonging to PFDK members, which contained elements of confrontation and revenge, were made public, the club stated that the principle of impartiality had been clearly violated and that such a hostile mentality has no place in Turkish sports.
The Super League giant Fenerbahçe announced that an official application was made to the TFF following news related to the PFDK.
In a statement made by Fenerbahçe, it was stated, "Neutrality is being questioned: Our club has officially applied to the Turkish Football Federation regarding the correspondence that has been revealed today and is claimed to belong to the members of the Professional Football Discipline Board. We believe that this hostile mentality, which clearly violates the principle of neutrality and is filled with confrontation and revenge, has no place in Turkish Sports. It is respectfully announced to the Fenerbahçe community and the public."
WHAT HAPPENED ONE STEP BACK?
The WhatsApp conversations of the TFF Disciplinary Board members regarding Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray were featured in Türkiye Gazetesi.
