SHE SHARED A POST ALLEGING VIOLENCE
Elif U., a science teacher at a private school in Zonguldak, made a statement on her social media account claiming that her ex-husband Haydar E., from whom she divorced 1.5 years ago, had subjected her to violence.
In her post, the teacher alleged that she suffered violence throughout her marriage and that threats and violence continued despite her divorce, also sharing old photos showing signs of assault. Elif U.'s post was quickly shared by many people, with numerous users sending supportive messages.
CHAOS ERUPTED AT THE STADIUM
Following the incident, the teacher's brother S.U. and his associates went to the Kemal Köksal Stadium, where sports trainer Haydar E. worked. The argument that started between the parties there soon turned into a fight. S.U. and those with him attacked Haydar E. with kicks and punches.
THEY CONTINUED KICKING HIM EVEN AFTER HE FAINTED
In the footage captured by a mobile phone camera, Haydar E. is seen falling to the ground after being struck. According to claims, the attackers continued kicking Haydar E. as he collapsed, unconscious. The fight ended after security personnel intervened.
4 PEOPLE WERE TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
Upon the report, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. Injured Haydar E. was taken by ambulance to Atatürk State Hospital for treatment. S.U., along with his son and two friends, were taken into custody by police and brought to the station. The suspects were released after giving their statements.
INVESTIGATION CONTINUES
It was learned that an investigation has been launched into both the allegations of violence and the assault incident at the stadium.
