In the Turhal district of Tokat, the Yeşilırmak River overflowed due to heavy rainfall. Homes, barns, and agricultural lands in the neighborhoods of Çevlik, Borsa, and Çubuklu, as well as in some villages, were flooded. Evacuations were carried out in 15 neighborhoods and 7 villages.

AGRICULTURAL LANDS UNDER WATER
Due to recent rainfalls in the district, flooding occurred in some parts of the Yeşilırmak River where Karasu, Çivril, and Dazya streams merge.
Houses, barns, annexes, and cultivated agricultural lands along the riverbank in Çevlik, Borsa, and Çubuklu neighborhoods and some villages were submerged. The flood and underwater agricultural areas in the Elalamış village were captured by drone.
15 NEIGHBORHOODS AND 7 VILLAGES EVACUATED
Meanwhile, citizens living in 15 neighborhoods and 7 villages in the district were evacuated from their homes as a precaution.
