The AK Party Istanbul Provincial Chairman Abdullah Özdemir claimed that the İBB has opened cemeteries for development. Özdemir stated, "We said it was 65 acres in Avcılar, but in our subsequent research, we found that the cemetery area opened for development, by merging other parcels, is approximately 180 acres. Its financial value is 30 billion lira. We will share with you the decision on how such a large profit was opened for development on an individual's land."
Abdullah Özdemir, the Chairman of the AK Party Istanbul Provincial Organization, claimed that the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) has opened cemeteries for development, stating, "We said it was 65 acres in Avcılar, but in our subsequent research, we found that the cemetery area opened for development, with the merging of other parcels, is approximately 180 acres. Its financial value is 30 billion lira. We will share with you the decision on how such a large profit was opened for development on an individual's land."
ÖZDEMİR'S CLAIM OF "CEMETERIES OPENED FOR DEVELOPMENT"
Abdullah Özdemir, the Chairman of the AK Party Istanbul Provincial Organization, held a press conference at the AK Party Istanbul Provincial Headquarters. Stating that they are together due to the winter period field studies of the "Istanbul with Every Neighborhood" concept, Özdemir expressed their happiness in having grown the AK Party Istanbul family with 150,000 new members.
Özdemir conveyed that they continue their efforts with all their might through market visits, meetings with tradesmen and citizens, and stated that their work with civil society organizations and sports clubs is among the most important activities of 2025.
Özdemir noted that they will continue to grow these efforts in 2026, and mentioned that they have started field studies in every region of Istanbul and with members of parliament in the first quarter of 2026, along with the winter period field studies.
Stating that they will further strengthen their strong ties with the public in these efforts, Özdemir said, "We will strive to turn our strong bond with our nation into an opportunity for the future of Istanbul and our country. Today, we will continue our work as the Istanbul Organization together with our members of parliament in Bayrampaşa, Maltepe, and Esenyurt in the same way. At the end of 13 weeks, we will leave no street in our Istanbul unvisited."

Recalling that CHP Chairman Özgür Özel stated at the Beşiktaş rally, "The announcement is not an announcement, it's a tailing lie, a tailing lie.
