After three members of the Bocek family in Fatih, Istanbul lost their lives due to the food they consumed, reports of food poisoning have emerged from two more cities. In Kastamonu, 30 people who ate chicken pilaf at a mevlit meal were hospitalized, while 8 people who ate chicken döner at a wedding in Zonguldak were also placed under treatment. In Trabzon, 100 people were hospitalized on suspicion of food poisoning.

While the investigation into the deaths of two children and three members of the Böcek family after dining at a restaurant in Istanbul continues, reports of poisoning have come from three cities.

30 PEOPLE HOSPITALIZED

A mevlit was held in the Dere neighborhood of Haskavak village in the Doğanyurt district of Kastamonu. Approximately 50 people were served chicken pilaf and ayran at the mevlit. Most of the citizens who ate the meal began to show signs of poisoning. The number of citizens who applied to hospitals with suspected poisoning has risen to 30.

8 PEOPLE POISONED FROM CHICKEN DONER

Guests who ate chicken doner served at a wedding held in the Alaplı district of Zonguldak during lunch became unwell after a while. Eight people, who complained of dizziness and vomiting, applied to Alaplı State Hospital. It was determined that the eight individuals were poisoned from the food they had eaten. Some of the poisoned citizens were discharged after the intervention.

100 PEOPLE HOSPITALIZED

Approximately 100 guests who ate the food served at a wedding held at the groom's house in the Ortahisar district of Trabzon were taken to hospitals with suspected food poisoning.

WHAT HAPPENED?

Servet and Çiğdem Böcek, who arrived in Istanbul from Germany on November 9 and were staying at a hotel in Fatih, along with their children Kadir Muhammet and Masal, were hospitalized on November 12 due to complaints of nausea and vomiting. Despite all interventions, the children could not be saved.

The mother, who was treated at Taksim Training and Research Hospital, passed away on November 14, while the father's treatment continues.

Two tourists who stayed at the same hotel as the Böcek family were also hospitalized yesterday with complaints of nausea and vomiting at the same hospital. A third person who was staying in the same room and was accompanying the patients was also admitted for examination due to low heart rate.

As part of the investigation initiated regarding the incident, police teams conducted an inspection at the hotel yesterday. After the inspection, the hotel was evacuated, and customers were directed to different hotels.
