Ali Çamlı, who announced that he will not be a candidate in Kayserispor, was re-elected as the president.

The extraordinary elective general assembly of Bellona Kayserispor, one of the trendy Super League teams, was held. The congress, held at the Kadir Has Congress Center Sports Hall, began with the election of the presidium and members, a moment of silence, and the singing of the National Anthem. Then the voting of the activity and audit reports was carried out. The current president Ali Çamlı, who had previously announced that he would not run for office, was re-elected as the president.

HE HAD ANNOUNCED THAT HE WOULD NOT RUN

President Ali Çamlı said in his speech at the congress that he had been the president of Kayserispor for 33 months. Çamlı, who stated that today is his last day as the president of Kayserispor, reminded that he had made the decision for the general assembly a while ago and announced that he would not run for office.

Çamlı said, "I am not a candidate today, I expected the friends who speak for Kayserispor to come to this hall and become candidates, but unfortunately they only have their tongues and a phone in their hands. Other than that, they have nothing, I will not speak anymore."

Çamlı, stating that Kayserispor has no income, continued as follows:

"There are two reasons that brought us to this situation. The first is that Kayserispor will probably not have any income for 5 years. I leave those who commit such an inhuman act to Allah. An unprecedented situation is being exhibited in Kayserispor, which has never been seen in the history of the Republic of Turkey since the establishment of football clubs. Everyone who has served or been the president of Kayserispor has receivables. Other clubs also have receivables from their managers, but no club president has taken the money they said they gave to 'Kayserispor', their personal debts that they pledged to the banks. The second reason is that if this club is to survive, it will survive with the sponsorships of the distinguished people of Kayseri or the large companies doing business in the city. All the help that could be done to the pupil of this city, our beloved brand, has been cut off with street rumors. This is the second reason."

ASKED FOR SUPPORT FOR KAYSERISPOR

Çamlı, who asked the city to support Kayserispor, said that he could not believe the situation of the club when he looked at it from the day they took over.

Çamlı, who stated that he asked for something concrete for Kayserispor to survive, said, "I have serious health problems. Despite this, since I made the decision for the general assembly, we have tried to solve the problems of Kayserispor with my board of directors, but as of today, I'm done. May Allah be pleased with all of you. All my rights are also forgiven to Kayserispor and my city," he said.

RE-ELECTED AS PRESIDENT

In the congress, which was held with a single list after the speeches, Ali Çamlı, who announced that he would not run for office, was re-elected as the president with the proposal and unanimous vote of the delegates attending the general assembly.

Thanking those who attended the congress, Çamlı said, "My friends and elders, by giving a list today, want me to continue to run this ship a little more and do this job. In order not to disappoint them and not to encounter any problems with my city and my love, and with the hope that a brave person will come forward to lead, I will continue in this duty."
