WHAT HAPPENED?
Galatasaray redesigned and put on sale the jersey without a crest that was used in the 1980-81 season. In a photo featuring Fatih Terim, who was the team captain at that time, moments where Fatih Terim's image was covered by a finger caught the attention of fans. After Galatasaray fans reacted strongly on social media to the covering of Fatih Terim's image, the existing image was deleted and reshared with Fatih Terim visible. In the shared post, it was seen that Fatih Terim's face was visible and the phrase "Since 1974, our bond with our legend is forever..." was used.
