The Iranian Foreign Minister Arakchi stated, "We are open to any efforts for the stability of the country and the region."

GREEN LIGHT FOR DIALOGUE FROM IRAN

While conflicts between the US-Israel and Iran continue in the Middle East, a statement has come from Tehran to reduce tensions. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Arakchi signaled a willingness for dialogue with the US. In his statement, Arakchi said, "We are open to any efforts for the stability of the country and the region."

"THE TRANSITION COUNCIL WILL CARRY OUT THE LEADERSHIP ROLE"

On the other hand, Arakchi made statements to the Qatari press regarding the conflict with the US and Israel and the death of the country's religious leader Khamenei. Arakchi announced that a transition council was established today following attacks targeting the country's top leadership by the US and Israel, stating, "This council consists of the President, the Head of the Judiciary, and a legal expert from the Guardian Council. This trio will carry out the leadership role until a new leader is elected."

"A NEW LEADER WILL BE ELECTED SOON"

Following this, Arakchi expressed that the process of selecting a new leader by the Assembly of Experts, composed of clerics, will begin, stating, "I assume this will take a short time. You will see a religious leader elected within one or two days."

Arakchi also stated that they would not observe borders while defending themselves against the US and Israel, saying, "We have no restrictions or limits on our self-defense."

ACCUSED THE US OF ATTACKING WHILE NEGOTIATIONS CONTINUE

Arakchi accused the US of carrying out an attack in an environment where negotiations are ongoing. He expressed that unlike the US, which initiated attacks during negotiations for the second time, Iran has always been a country open to diplomacy.

"WE ARE NOT ATTACKING OUR BROTHERS"

Referring to the attacks carried out by Iran on Arab countries in retaliation for US-Israel attacks, Arakchi stated, "We have no problems with the countries on the other side of the Persian Gulf. We have friendly and good neighborly relations with all of them, and we are determined to maintain these relations."

Emphasizing that what they are doing is a retaliatory action against US attacks, Arakchi said, "We are not attacking our brothers and neighbors in the Persian Gulf. We are hitting American targets."

"WE HAVE NO INTENTION OF CLOSING THE STRAIT OF HORMUZ"

Arakchi also stated that his country has no intention of closing the Strait of Hormuz, which is crucial for 20% of the world's oil trade, nor does it have any plans to obstruct maritime traffic at this stage.
