A 15-year-old boy working as an apprentice in a carpentry workshop in the Bozova district of Şanlıurfa was allegedly tied up by a journeyman and a friend working at the same place, and was severely injured as a result of high-pressure air being forced into his rectum with an air compressor. The boy, who suffered damage to his internal organs, was taken to the intensive care unit for treatment, while one suspect was released under judicial control by the court.

HANDS TIED AND AIR INJECTED INTO HIS RECTUM WITH A COMPRESSOR
The incident occurred yesterday in a carpentry workshop in Bozova district. According to allegations, Muhammed K., who was working as an apprentice in the workshop, was first incapacitated by having his hands tied by Habip A., who worked as a journeyman, and a friend whose name is unknown, for an unknown reason. Then, his pants were forcibly removed, and air was injected into his rectum with a high-pressure compressor.
DAMAGE TO INTERNAL ORGANS
Upon receiving reports from those who saw the severely injured child collapse, a medical team was dispatched to the scene. Muhammed K. was taken to Bozova Mehmet Enver Yıldırım State Hospital by ambulance, and after the initial intervention there, he was transferred first to Balıklıgöl State Hospital and then to Harran University Research and Application Hospital. The child, who was reported to have serious damage to his internal organs, was placed under treatment in the intensive care unit.
RELEASED UNDER JUDICIAL CONTROL
Following the incident, Habip A. was detained upon the family's complaint. After his statement was taken at the Bozova District Police Department, Habip A. was referred to the courthouse, where he was released under judicial control by the court. The father, Ahmet K., who reacted to the suspect's release, demanded that those responsible be punished.
