IT IS RECEIVING GREAT INTEREST DURING THE HOLIDAY

BEACHES ARE CROWDED
In the district, which has numerous artifacts from the Hellenistic, Archaic, Classical, Roman, Byzantine, Genoese, Seljuk, and Ottoman periods, there was a crowd on the beaches in the Büyük and Küçük Liman areas on the third day of the holiday.
LONG VEHICLE QUEUE AT THE DISTRICT ENTRANCE
While a long vehicle queue formed at the district entrance, drivers were directed to the Turkey Hard Coal Institution (TTK) Amasra Facility area due to the parking areas in the center being full.
In the district where the air temperature was measured at 25 degrees, holidaymakers spending time at Çekiciler Bazaar, Büyük Liman, Amasra Castle, Kemere Bridge, and Culture Park took plenty of photos on the breakwater and cliffs.
"WE ARE HOSTING 60 THOUSAND DAY-TRIPPERS"
Amasra Mayor Recai Çakır stated that all hotels and guesthouses with a capacity of 3,000 beds in the district are full, and thousands of day-trippers are flocking to the district. Çakır noted that the district, which is the closest beach to Ankara, is experiencing significant density during this holiday as well, saying, "The majority of those coming are from Ankara. Our beach in the Büyük and Küçük Liman areas is full. Due to all the parking lots in the center being full, we are directing drivers to the neighborhoods at the district entrance and to the TTK Amasra Facility area. During the holiday, we are hosting approximately 60 thousand local and foreign tourists in our district with a population of 6 thousand. This density in our district will continue until the end of the holiday." he said.
"OUR GUESTS ARE HAVING DIFFICULTY ENTERING THE DISTRICT CENTER"
Amasra Culture and Tourism Association President Hüseyin Boran also noted that there is significant density in the district with tour organizations and day visitors. Boran expressed that they are having difficulty meeting the accommodation demand, stating, "Especially today, a vehicle queue of about 3 kilometers formed at the district entrance. Our guests are having difficulty even entering the district center. The arrival of the cruise ship named 'Astoria Grande' from Sochi, Russia, with 1,060 passengers has increased the holiday density in the district." he stated.
