The Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, Murat Kurum, met with Mesut Hançer, who is symbolized by not letting go of his daughter's hand, who lost her life in the rubble during the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş on February 6.
Three years have passed since the earthquakes on February 6, referred to as the "Disaster of the Century," centered in Kahramanmaraş. On the anniversary of the disaster, in which approximately 53,000 people lost their lives and more than 100,000 were injured, the earthquake martyrs were commemorated with prayers.

Minister of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change Murat Kurum met with Mesut Hançer, who is remembered for the photo holding the hand of his 16-year-old daughter Irmak Leyla Hançer, who was trapped under the rubble in Ebrar Site in Kahramanmaraş.
