Vucic, who described the actions taken for the recognition of Kosovo and the strengthening of its army as a "threat to Serbia," stated, "Many regional and global actors have initiated a new movement for the recognition of Kosovo's independence. Especially Turkey and Saudi Arabia."
"TURKEY IS DELIVERING HEAVY WEAPONS"
The Americans are clearly and explicitly arming the Albanians in Kosovo and Metohija. Turkey is also getting involved in this process by delivering heavy weapons and everything else. There is a single purpose; to directly threaten the Republic of Serbia and its territorial integrity, to attack the civilian population of the Republic of Serbia and the military-police structures," he said.
HE HAD USED STRONG WORDS BEFORE
Vucic had previously directed harsh words at Turkey following the delivery of BAYKAR-produced "Skydagger" kamikaze drones to Kosovo, and then softened his rhetoric.
Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti stated that the Kosovo army has undergone a significant modernization process in the last 4 years, saying, "We have equipped our army with Skydagger and Bayraktar TB2 from Turkey, and Puma drones from the USA. Soon we will also have an ammunition factory and a drone production facility."
