Within the scope of the investigation conducted by the Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, Bursalı is expected to give a statement regarding the charges directed by the prosecutor's office. It was stated that there is currently no detention instruction against Bursalı.
CHARGE UNDER TURKISH PENAL CODE ARTICLE 217/A
The crime of “publicly disseminating misleading information” is regulated under Article 217/A of the Turkish Penal Code. According to the article, publicly disseminating false information related to public order, general health, or the country's internal and external security, in a manner likely to disturb public peace and with a specific motive, is defined as a crime.
