As the ongoing war between the US-Israel and Iran enters its 12th day, the US media has put forward a striking claim. According to reports, Iran's new leader Mojtaba Khamenei has been seriously injured in the US attacks on Iran, and it has even been suggested that he may have died.

According to reports from some US-based media outlets, areas containing high-level targets belonging to the Iranian government were also hit during the attacks. Yousef Pezeshkian, the son of the Iranian President and also a government advisor, made a statement regarding the claims that Iran's new religious leader Mojtaba Khamenei was injured.
Pezeshkian stated in a post on his Telegram channel that he had heard news about Khamenei being injured and confirmed the matter through his contacts, saying, "I heard news that Mojtaba Khamenei was injured. I asked some friends who are in contact with him. Thank God, they informed me that he is in good health," he said.

The Iranian state television had previously described Khamenei as a "veteran," but had not shared any details regarding the nature of the injury or how it occurred.
WHO IS MOJTABA KHAMENEI?
Mojtaba Khamenei is the second son of Iran's religious leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and has been recognized as one of the influential figures in Iranian politics for many years. Born in 1969 in the city of Mashhad, Khamenei received his religious education in the seminaries of Qom.
Although he does not hold an official state position in Iran, he is considered an influential figure in the country's politics, especially due to his close relationships with the Revolutionary Guards and conservative political circles. Mojtaba Khamenei's name frequently comes up, particularly in discussions regarding Iran's internal political balances and religious leadership.
His name also emerged during the protests following the controversial presidential elections in Iran in 2009, with some political circles claiming that Khamenei was influential behind the scenes.
