Calling for dialogue for regional security, Sudani stated that he would not allow the use of his country's territory to attack Iran, condemning military activities targeting Iran and stressing their opposition to any war that threatens the security of the people in the region.

Pezeshkian expressed his appreciation for Iraq's stance rejecting the use of force in resolving disputes and thanked the Baghdad government for its efforts to maintain regional stability.
