YouTuber Arif Kocabıyık, who was caught under a TIR trailer at Kapıkule while trying to flee abroad illegally, was referred to the courthouse along with the Iranian national hiding with him and the TIR driver M.A. after their procedures. When asked, 'Where were you trying to escape to?', Kocabıyık replied, 'Anamur'.
Arif Kocabıyık, who was caught trying to leave the country hidden under the trailer of a truck at the Kapıkule Border Gate, and the truck driver M. A. were referred to the courthouse.
CAUGHT UNDER THE TRUCK TRAILER
Arif Kocabıyık, a YouTuber known for his street interviews, had a travel ban abroad as part of an investigation against him on charges of "insulting the President." While attempting to flee the country illegally, he was caught hiding under a truck trailer at Kapıkule.
REFERRED TO THE COURTHOUSE
Kocabıyık was detained along with the Iranian national hiding with him and the truck driver M.A. After the detention procedures were completed, the suspects were brought to the courthouse by Customs Enforcement teams.

In response to journalists' question, "Where were you fleeing to?" Kocabıyık replied, "Anamur." Kocabıyık and driver M.A. were taken to the prosecutor's office for questioning.
WHAT HAPPENED?
As part of the legal process led by the Edirne Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, a search and control was conducted yesterday on a truck with license plate 42 BHK 513 arriving at the Kapıkule Customs Area to exit to Bulgaria. During the inspection by customs enforcement teams, two people hiding under the truck's trailer were detected.
The detained individuals were identified as Arif Kocabıyık and Iranian national S. P. S. It was determined that Kocabıyık, known publicly as a YouTuber, had a travel ban abroad under the charge of "insulting the President" regulated in Article 299/1 of the Turkish Penal Code, as per the Antalya 35th Criminal Court of First Instance.
It was assessed that Kocabıyık, whose measure was still in effect, had hidden under the truck trailer to cross into Bulgaria. Following the incident, legal proceedings were initiated upon the instruction of the Edirne Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Kocabıyık and truck driver M. A. were taken into custody.
The foreign national was handed over to the Provincial Directorate of Migration Management.
