BROKE THE WORLD RECORD FOR THE 13TH TIME

Competing in the gold category of the World Athletics Continental Tour in Budapest, the capital of Hungary, Duplantis set a new record.

The 25-year-old Swedish athlete succeeded in clearing 6.29 meters on his second attempt, thus improving his world record for the 13th time. The Olympic and world champion athlete had previously broken his record on June 15 at the Diamond League event in Stockholm, successfully clearing 6.28 meters on his first attempt.
