Armed attack at a condolence house in Gaziantep: 2 dead, 4 injured.

In the Nizip district of Gaziantep, a suspect who shot and killed 2 people and injured 4 others at a condolence house belonging to his feuding relatives has fled. Gunfire was opened at the social facility used as a condolence house by the municipality, where relatives had gathered for a funeral. Yasin A. injured his relatives Hasan A., Muhsin A., Mehmet A., and Cuma A., who were said to have a feud over a land dispute, as well as Orhan M. and Şerif S., who were present there.

WORK HAS BEEN INITIATED TO CAPTURE THE SUSPECT

Upon the notification of the surrounding people, police and medical teams were dispatched to the area. An examination conducted by the 112 Emergency Service teams determined that Cuma A. had lost his life. Şerif S., one of the injured taken to Nizip State Hospital, could not be saved despite intervention. After the incident, police teams initiated efforts to capture the fleeing Yasin A.
