It was learned that the lawyer, who was wounded in the arm and chest, was not in life-threatening condition. Police teams caught the fleeing suspects in the house where they were hiding; the two people sent to the courthouse were arrested. BECAME THE TARGET OF BULLETS The incident occurred at around 15:00 on Friday, September 24, 2025, in Ortabayır Neighborhood. According to the information obtained, lawyer Murat K., who was sitting alone in the restaurant, went outside after a while and started a video call on his mobile phone. Shortly after, as he was coming to the front of the workplace while seen speaking loudly during the call, a suspect dressed in black and masked opened fire on him. As a result of the gunfire, Murat K. was wounded in his left arm, and grazes occurred on his right arm and chest area. It was learned that the injured person had no life-threatening condition and was conscious after the attack, while the attacker fled the scene.
SHOUTED "EITHER YOU COME AND SHOOT ME OR I'LL SHOOT YOU" Upon the notification, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. After the first intervention by health teams, the injured person was taken to the hospital and treated. During the examinations at the scene, 3 empty casings were found. Kağıthane Public Order Bureau teams, who initiated an investigation into the incident, took statements from witnesses.
The business owner Nihat A. (60) said that Murat K. came to the place shortly before the incident, and while he was talking on the phone outside, an unidentified person opened fire on Murat K. Other witnesses in the area stated that Murat K., about 15 minutes before the incident, while making a video call on his mobile phone, shouted 'Either you come and shoot me or I'll shoot you', and that shortly after the call, 2 people on a motorcycle came to the front of the workplace and the person on the back seat opened fire on Murat K. It was also learned that the security camera footage confirmed the witness statements.
2 SUSPECTS CAUGHT In the camera and field investigations conducted by police teams, the identities of the individuals who carried out the attack were determined. The teams, who learned that the suspects were hiding in a house in Gültepe Neighborhood, carried out an operation on the house. As the door was not opened, Yasin K. (22) and Yusuf K. (26) were detained after entering the house from the balcony.

SUSPECTS ARRESTED It was determined that one of the suspects, Yusuf K., had 5 records for the crimes of 'Attempted intentional homicide', 'Intentional injury', 'Violation of the firearms law', 'Using narcotic substances', and 'Threat-insult', and was wanted for the crime of 'Possession of unlicensed weapons', and that Yasin K. was wanted for the crimes of 'Damage to property', 'Intentional endangerment of public safety', 'Violation of the firearms law', 'Intentional injury', and 'Robbery', as well as for the crimes of 'Fraud', 'Drug trafficking', and 'Membership in a criminal organization'. It was also revealed that the suspects were sought in 6 separate files. After their procedures at the police station, they were referred to the courthouse. The 2 suspects were arrested by the court they were brought to and sent to prison.
