HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS FLOCKED

Ayatollah Jafar Sobhani led the funeral prayer offered in a special area at Imam Khomeini Musalla Mosque. Hundreds of thousands of Iranians, carrying flags, came to the ceremony area in the early morning and attended the funeral prayer. The funeral ceremony was attended by Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, military and political officials, and religious figures.

As the crowd chanted "Revenge for our holy leader!" an Iranian cleric spoke, saying, "If we do not kill his murderer, it will be our shame. If we do not kill his murderer, our clothes will become our shroud from now on. By your blood, killing Trump is our debt."
