47 methamphetamine capsules were found in the stomach of a suspect stopped at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport. The suspect, who had a total of 322 grams of methamphetamine in his stomach, was arrested and sent to prison after procedures at the police station.
STOPPED AT THE AIRPORT
Under the coordination of the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, teams from the Narcotic Crimes Combat Branch Directorate carried out an operation on a suspicious person at İzmir Adnan Menderes Airport. As a result of the teams' attention and detailed work, it was determined that the suspect, who was stopped, chose a dangerous method for drug shipment.
322 GRAMS OF METHAMPHETAMINE FOUND IN HIS STOMACH
The person, who was referred to the hospital on suspicion at the airport and subjected to an internal body examination, was found to have foreign substances in his stomach and digestive system. During the medical intervention and detailed searches, a total of 322 grams of methamphetamine, which the suspect had swallowed in 47 separate capsules and carried in his body, was seized.
After completing procedures at the police station, the suspect was referred to the courthouse and was arrested by the court and sent to prison.
