In the İnegöl district of Bursa, two children aged 12 and 7 set the Fenerbahçe Fans Association on fire using a lighter. One of the children, Baran K., stated that he started the fire because 'I am a Galatasaray fan, I don't like Fenerbahçe.' The children, whose statements were taken with a psychologist present, were handed over to their families.
Baran K. (12) and Münür Ç. (7), who started a fire at the Fenerbahçe Association in İnegöl district of Bursa, were handed over to their families after giving statements accompanied by a psychologist. The moment of the fire was captured by a security camera of a workplace.
A fire broke out around 18:00 yesterday at the Fenerbahçe Association located in a passage on Elektrik Street in Cuma Neighborhood, İnegöl. According to claims, two children entered the passage, set fire to chairs and curtains in the garden area of the association with a lighter, and fled. Those who saw the fire reported it to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the report, numerous fire and police teams were dispatched to the address. The teams intervened and extinguished the fire. The moment the two children started the fire that caused damage to the association was captured by a security camera of a nearby workplace.
"I AM A GALATASARAY FAN, I DON'T LIKE FENERBAHÇE"
In the investigation related to the incident, the fleeing children were identified as Baran K. and Münür Ç. They were found by teams from the District Police Department's Juvenile Bureau. During the statements taken with a psychologist, Baran K. reportedly said, "I am a Galatasaray fan, I don't like Fenerbahçe. That's why I set it on fire." Both children were handed over to their families after the statements.
