Attack on police vehicle with IED and Molotov cocktail in Bağcılar, Istanbul.

In Bağcılar, a manhunt has been initiated to capture the suspects who threw homemade explosives (EYP) and Molotov cocktails at a police vehicle.

SUSPECTS THREW MOLOTOV COCKTAILS AND EYP AT POLICE VEHICLE

Upon receiving a tip-off about a group walking with Molotov cocktails and EYPs on 1716 Street in Demirkapı Neighborhood, police teams were dispatched to the area. The group that threw Molotov cocktails and EYPs at the police vehicle fled into side streets.

POLICE ARE IN PURSUIT OF THE FLEEING INDIVIDUALS

While the vehicle sustained minor damage, expert teams were called to the area for the unexploded EYPs. The operation initiated by the police to capture the fleeing suspects is ongoing.
