In the statement made on the ministry's social media account, it was stated that according to the latest data from the General Directorate of Meteorology, heavy rainfall is expected in many provinces on Thursday, May 14.
According to the statement;
- The east of Çanakkale,
- The south and west of Balıkesir,
- The inland parts of İzmir,
- Manisa,
- The east of Aydın,
- The south and east of Bursa,
- Bilecik,
- Kütahya,
- Afyonkarahisar,
- Around Denizli, short-term and locally heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected.
WARNINGS ALSO ISSUED FOR THE BLACK SEA AND CENTRAL ANATOLIA
According to the assessments of the Meteorology;
- Bolu,
- Düzce,
- Karabük,
- Kastamonu,
- Sinop,
- Samsun,
- Amasya,
- Çorum,
- Tokat,
- Ordu,
- Around Giresun, and the inland parts of Zonguldak and Bartın will also experience intermittent and locally heavy rainfall.
In Central Anatolia;
- Eskişehir,
- Ankara,
- Çankırı,
- Yozgat,
- Sivas,
- Nevşehir,
- Aksaray,
- Kayseri,
- Niğde, and the north and west of Konya are reported to expect heavy showers.
HEAVY RAINFALL EXPECTED ALSO FOR THE MEDITERRANEAN REGION
In the ministry's statement;

- Adana,
- The inland and northern parts of Osmaniye,
- The west of Kahramanmaraş,
- The east of Burdur,
- Around Isparta, intermittent and locally heavy showers and thunderstorms are expected.
CALL FOR CITIZENS TO "BE CAUTIOUS"
The Ministry of Interior requested citizens to be careful and cautious against adversities such as;
- Floods,
- Water overflows,
- Lightning,
- Local hail,
- Strong wind and storm,
- Risk of tornado,
- Disruptions in transportation.
The ministry also called on citizens to follow the warnings made by the authorized institutions.
