Author İlhami Işık stated that his 27-year-old married son, a father of one, who fell into the clutches of loan sharks, has gone missing, and issued a desperate message. Emphasizing that he has no assets in the face of threats and accumulating interest debts, Işık posted a farewell message on social media, saying, 'I have no house or car to save my honor. I no longer have the strength to endure the threats; please forgive me.'
Author İlhami Işık stated that his 27-year-old married father of one son fell into the hands of loan sharks and disappeared, posting a farewell message on his social media account. Işık, noting that his son was helpless against the debt burden and threats left by loan sharks, said, 'I have no property to save my honor, I have only one life and I will give that as well,' asking for forgiveness.

Author İlhami Işık, in a statement on his social media platform X (Twitter) account, revealed the great tragedy his family is experiencing. Upon learning that his 27-year-old son left his home due to loan sharks, Işık described the background of the incident with these words: 'This is a farewell and will statement. I learned about it last night. My 27-year-old youngest son, who is married and has a 6-year-old daughter, fell into the hands of loan sharks, left a note to his wife saying “I couldn’t collect my receivables, I’m going to get them,” and disappeared. My son was running the hookah section of a café, and he couldn’t have incurred these debts from that business.'
"I DON'T KNOW WHO HE BORROWED FROM"
Stating that he learned the magnitude of the incident after loan sharks called his son's wife and a subsequent suicide attempt, Işık said, 'I also learned about it when, due to the loan sharks calling his wife, he tried to commit suicide by jumping from a window, but was rescued by his sister and taken to the hospital. I don’t know why he borrowed money. I don’t know who he borrowed from. He never mentioned his debts to us, not even for a single day. He borrowed from someone, couldn’t pay, then took money from loan sharks, couldn’t pay them either, so he borrowed more money with interest from here and there, and eventually kept making payments but couldn’t handle the loan sharks’ interest, so he disappeared,' he recounted.
"NO ONE NEEDS TO BE MY MURDERER"
Emphasizing that he has lived with dignity for years and has no assets, İlhami Işık stated that he no longer has the strength to endure threats and harassment, sharing what is essentially a farewell message: 'I am a person who has fought for years to protect my honor and dignity without being dependent on the worthless. I dedicated my life to touching the hearts of the poor and desperate. I have no home, no car, no property or possessions. If I did, I would give them all now to save my honor. I have only one life, and I will give that as well. I don’t have the strength to bear the threats and harassment. No one needs to be my murderer.'
