Fenerbahçe Presidential Candidate Aziz Yıldırım made striking statements referring to former head coach Domenico Tedesco's comments last season. Yıldırım stated he disagreed with criticisms that training sessions in Samandıra were being monitored by rivals.
"THEY WERE RECORDING IN OUR TIME TOO"
Speaking on the L1 Üçgen program, Aziz Yıldırım said, "Oh, journalists are recording tactics from above in Samandıra and so on. They were recording in our time too. We became champions 6 times, but no coach ever came and said they are doing this and that, take measures. That came up this year."
TEDESCO'S WORDS HAD MADE HEADLINES
Domenico Tedesco had argued that the working environment in Samandıra harmed the team in his statement following Fenerbahçe's 3-0 defeat to Galatasaray.
