The new episode of NOW TV's series Anne Yarısı, starring Burcu Özberk and Cihangir Ceyhan, which was expected to air tonight, will not be broadcast. Due to the Galatasaray-Stuttgart match and the decline in advertising revenues, changes have been made to the broadcast schedule, and it has been learned that a rerun will be aired instead of the series' new episode.
An unexpected development occurred regarding the TV series Anne Yarısı, which meets viewers on NOW TV on Tuesday evenings. The new episode of the production, starring Burcu Özberk, Cihangir Ceyhan and Esra Dermancıoğlu, which was expected to air on Tuesday evening, November 3, was removed from the broadcast schedule. While the series' followers were waiting for the new episode, it emerged that the channel's broadcast plan had been changed.
THE GALATASARAY MATCH CHANGED THE BROADCAST SCHEDULE
On the evening when Galatasaray will face Stuttgart in the UEFA Champions League, the broadcast plans of television channels also changed. It was stated that due to the match, which will start at 20:45 on TRT 1, private channels decided not to air new episodes of some series.
Anne Yarısı was among the productions affected by this decision. It was learned that instead of the series' new episode, a rerun episode will air at 20:00.
THE ADVERTISING CRISIS ALSO HAD AN EFFECT
It was claimed that the recent decline in advertising revenues in the television industry was also effective in the broadcast decision. It was stated that channels avoid airing new episodes especially on evenings with football matches expected to reach high viewing rates.
The removal of previously made promotional posts regarding the new episode of Anne Yarısı also drew attention.
WHEN WILL THE NEW EPISODE AIR?
The series' postponed 7th episode is expected to meet viewers on Tuesday evening, November 10. However, no official statement has yet been made by the channel regarding the new broadcast date.
