AK Party Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala, stating on a live broadcast that they are aware of the difficulties retirees are experiencing, said, 'Improvement efforts are ongoing; once they are finalized, we will share them with our citizens; increasing prosperity is our obligation.'
AK Party Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala answered questions from Habertürk TV Ankara Representative Nasuhi Güngör and made important statements on live broadcast regarding the agenda. Ala gave critical messages about the fund investigation, which the public is closely following, and the ongoing work on retirement pensions.
"WHOEVER IT IS, NECESSARY ACTION WILL BE TAKEN"
Making statements regarding the fund investigation on the agenda, Efkan Ala said that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had put forward a clear political will on the matter. Noting that a comprehensive investigation was launched after President Erdoğan's statement that those responsible would be held accountable, Ala stated that both judicial and administrative investigations were continuing resolutely. Emphasizing that the process was being conducted with transparency, Ala made the following assessments: "We know our nation's trust in our President. Ensuring that this trust is never shaken is our President's fundamental policy. We have not followed a policy that covers up or defers problems. We have followed a policy that exposes problems and punishes those responsible. I say clearly from here that the will is complete and the determination is complete. Regardless of who they are, those who make this mistake, those who commit this crime, those who establish this order of unjust gain and plunder, the necessary action will be taken."

Efkan Ala, who also made assessments regarding the economy, stated that one of the government's most important priorities was to raise the general income level of citizens. Noting that they were aware of the difficulties experienced by retirees due to global economic developments and various problems that emerged after the pandemic, Ala said that work in this area was continuing. Stating that the details would be announced after the work was completed, Ala noted the following: "Our most important issue is to raise the general income level of our nation. The distance covered in the economy is clear. We know that our retirees are in difficulty due to the problems that emerged after the pandemic and other issues. Improvement efforts are continuing. Once this emerges, it will be shared with our citizens. Increasing the welfare of every segment of our nation is our obligation."
