The pot placement and possible opponents of Beşiktaş, which will represent our country in the UEFA Europa League, have been clarified ahead of the draw.
The countdown continues for the UEFA Europa League 2026/27 league phase.
BESIKTAS WILL ENTER THE DRAW FROM POT 4
The Europa League draw will be held on Friday, August 28, in Monaco at 14:00 CET. Besiktas, representing Turkey, will enter the draw from Pot 4 based on UEFA club coefficients.
BESIKTAS'S 8 OPPONENTS WILL BE DETERMINED
36 teams will compete in the league phase of the UEFA Europa League. The teams will be divided into four different pots of nine teams each. According to UEFA's 2026/27 season regulations, each team will be paired with two opponents from each of the four pots. Thus, Besiktas's eight opponents in the league phase will be determined by the draw. The black-and-whites will face one of the two opponents drawn from each pot at home and the other away. Besiktas will play a total of eight matches in the league phase; four at home and four away. Teams from the same country cannot be drawn against each other in the league phase. Additionally, a club can face at most two opponents from the same country.
