According to the Syrian press, the Turkish delegation and Bilal Erdoğan came to the Umayyad Mosque in Old Damascus to perform the Friday prayer with Syria's new leader Ahmed Shara.

Upon the invitation of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Syrian President Ahmed Shara, who took over the administration by overthrowing Bashar al-Assad, made his first official visit to the capital Ankara on February 4.
