IDENTITY TO BE DETERMINED BY DNA TEST
According to Okan Geçgel's exclusive news for Haberler.com; it was learned that a DNA examination will be conducted to definitively determine the identity of the body recovered from the region. After the test, it will be officially clarified whether the body belongs to Sevim Yılmaz.
BAG AND PERSONAL ITEMS HAD BEEN FOUND
An important development occurred yesterday in the search efforts; during drone-supported scans, a bag and some personal items believed to belong to Sevim Yılmaz were reached.
Following this, teams intensified their work in the said area. After search activities lasting throughout the night, a body was reached early in the morning.
SEARCHED FOR MONTHS
After Sevim Yılmaz's disappearance, AFAD, gendarmerie, police, UMKE, and other search and rescue teams, coordinated by the Ağrı Governorship, conducted search and scanning operations in the region for months despite the challenging terrain and adverse weather conditions. Meanwhile, it was learned that Sevim Yılmaz's husband was informed about the development and set off towards Ağrı.
While an official statement on the matter is expected to be made by the Ağrı Governorship and relevant institutions in the coming hours, the identity of the body will be finalized after the DNA examination.
