While the echoes of Özgür Özel's statement "We are establishing the new party" continue, the stance of Sinem Dedetaş, the Mayor of Üsküdar known for her closeness to Ekrem İmamoğlu, has become a matter of curiosity. CHP Istanbul Provincial Chairman Gürsel Tekin, a guest on Haberler.com, stated that Dedetaş will continue her political career under the roof of the "ancestral home" CHP.

CHP Group Chair Özgür Özel stepped onto the podium to bid farewell at the CHP Group Meeting. Özel said, "We are establishing our new party by taking the first step with the deputies elected by our nation. We are becoming the main opposition party by a wide margin." The first response to these words from the Kılıçdaroğlu camp came from CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Gürsel Tekin.

TEKİN: NO ONE CAN SILENCE US FROM NOW ON

Speaking on the Haberler.com studio as a guest of News Director Olgun Kızıltepe and presenter Melis Yaşar, Tekin said regarding the new party announcement, "The Republican People's Party will now deal with Turkey's real agenda. We have remained silent to prevent damage to the party's corporate identity, but from now on, no one can silence us."

"ÜSKÜDAR, KARTAL, SARIYER, BEŞİKTAŞ..."

Continuing his statement, Tekin said, "What everyone is very curious about, I will express here for the first time," and added, "For example, Beylikdüzü Municipality will stay in its party. For instance, again Üsküdar, Kartal, Sarıyer, Beşiktaş, Beyoğlu… That is, almost all of our municipalities will continue on their way in the Republican People's Party's ancestral home."

HE WAS İMAMOĞLU'S FELLOW TRAVELER

Among the names Gürsel Tekin listed, the one that drew the most attention was Üsküdar Mayor Sinem Dedetaş. It is a matter of curiosity how Dedetaş, one of Ekrem İmamoğlu's close fellow travelers, continuing her political career in the CHP under Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu's leadership will resonate with the electorate...

ZEYDAN KARALAR SAID "I WILL NOT JOIN"

Adana Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Zeydan Karalar, who was dismissed by the Ministry of Interior, stated that he would not join the new party announced by Özgür Özel. Speaking to journalist Hilal Köylü, Karalar responded to the question "Will you move to the New Party?" by saying, "I will stay in the CHP. I have been a CHP member for 54 years. I have no business with names. The struggle should continue in the CHP, which is one of Atatürk's two great works."
