Good Party Leader Müsavat Dervişoğlu stated that Turkish Grand National Assembly Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş also requested an appointment from them to discuss the 'framework law' regulation, saying, 'When the meeting is completed, we will fully share with our noble nation exactly what Mr. Kurtulmuş told us, what we said to him, what questions we asked, and what answers we received.'
İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu made statements on the agenda during his party's group meeting. Dervişoğlu also spoke about the "Framework law" meetings that Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş held with political parties. The İYİ Party Leader recalled that political parties that met with Kurtulmuş did not disclose the content of the meeting, stating that they would share all details of the meeting with the public.
"WE WILL SHARE THE MEETING COMPLETELY WITH OUR NOBLE NATION"
İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu said that Turkish Grand National Assembly (TBMM) Speaker Numan Kurtulmuş met with political parties regarding the "Framework law" regulation and requested an appointment from them as well. Stating that they granted Kurtulmuş an appointment, Dervişoğlu expressed that no political party has so far made a statement about the details of the meeting, and announced that they would share all details of the meeting with the public.
Dervişoğlu said the following on the matter:
"The appointment we gave is not support for the politics he conducts, but a requirement of the respect we show to the office representing the will of the Turkish nation and to the Gazi Parliament. We hope he will show the same respect to the office he holds. Not with words, but by defending the right and law of the Parliament. Let me say from the start, we have said what we had to say so far. Our word is the word of our nation. Let Mr. Kurtulmuş come. Let him say what he has to say. When the meeting is concluded, we will share exactly what Mr. Kurtulmuş told us, what we told him, what questions we asked, and what answers we received, completely and without omission, with our noble nation. Why am I saying this? None of them made a statement. Things are going on behind closed doors... Because he knows us, he will come knowing this. Because we have no hidden agenda. Whatever we say in Ankara, we say the same in Hakkari. Whatever we discuss with our interlocutors at the table, we say the same at this podium."
"I REMEMBER THE LEADERS OF THE CYPRUS STRUGGLE WITH GRATITUDE"
In his speech, Dervişoğlu stated that he attended official ceremonies in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus on the occasion of the July 20 Peace and Freedom Day, saying, "I remember the leaders of the Turkish Cypriots' struggle for existence, Dr. Fazıl Küçük and Founding President Rauf Denktaş, once again with mercy and gratitude; I pray to Allah for mercy for the noble martyrs of the Cyprus Peace Operation, and I extend my thanks to our heroic veterans and the Turkish Armed Forces." Dervişoğlu also thanked Bülent Ecevit and Necmettin Erbakan, who initiated the Cyprus Operation.
CRIME AND GANGS
İYİ Party Chairman Müsavat Dervişoğlu also stated that gangs on the streets have now become larger organizations, speaking as follows:
"The issue is not the capture of a few gangs. The issue is the growth of the crime economy to a level that challenges state authority. A gang can turn into a mafia, a mafia into a cartel, and a cartel, when it finds a political or ethnic cover, can transform into an armed structure. Even the bill that the government brought to Parliament acknowledges that criminal organizations use our children aged 15 to 18 as hitmen. It is not enough to just increase the penalty. It is also necessary to dismantle the deep injustice and poverty that deliver children to cartels, the financing network that feeds this, and the organized structure."
